Watercolor Plaza
Originally painted in 1982 as an early work from a beginning watercolor class in college, this lively plaza scene captures the charm of a historic church and market square with loose, expressive brushwork. Salt grains were used to create unexpected textures, reflecting a more spontaneous, “let it happen” approach to watercolor.
Available as a print, this piece brings a warm, sunlit architectural scene into the home with the character and spontaneity of traditional watercolor. Its soft washes, textured surface, and inviting plaza atmosphere make it a distinctive choice for collectors who appreciate early original works, historic settings, and expressive hand-painted charm.
Please Note: Fourthwall does not currently offer landscape-format paper options. To maximize the size of the artwork on the print, I have configured the design accordingly. The finished piece is intended to be displayed and framed in a horizontal (landscape) orientation.
